This posting finds me just north of Valdasta Ga. at the Bates Motel....I'm about to hop in the shower before bed. The clerk Norman is a very nice man. He told me his mother would come by later to check on me. How nice!

Hello friends, this posting finds me in Ringold Ga., just south of Chattanooga TN. I was blessed to have dinner with my father, when I passed through Marietta Ga.. Since the weather is bad were I need to go, I might just stay and enjoy the mountains tomorrow. (See Rock City) Pray for me and Mom's cats. Love, Bill

Sept. 28, 2006...12:26AM Just checked into the Hotel Wyoming, in Buffalo Wyoming. I am the only animal rights activist in town! It's hunting season....and every killer in the country is here. Pick-ups...hunting dogs..guns...and rednecks galore. There is even a large rack out front that will hold up to 10 Elk, and these people think I AM STRANGE!!! Well they are ALL getting an ear full from me...like it or not!!!! (I hope I don't get shot)

Sat. Sept 30, 2006 11:25PM, I wish I had more time to spend here...Montana is beautiful!! The trees are changing for fall and the air is crisp and clean! The next time I come up here it will be strictly for pleasure...NO WORK! Scarlett has liver problems, and still needs your prayers. 6 of 9 (Tom) has a new home...with mom. Smokey is fine. Mom has too many problems to list. Me... Oct 2, I fly back to Florida...pray for us all.

11:00 PM Sunday Oct. 1, 2006 WOW! What a long strange trip its been!!!! I'm tired...but it's a good tired. I think I need a vacation...to recover from my vacation!!! I wish I could stay here longer, but it will be good to get back home. Back to my own bed....AND MY KITTY CATS!!! I fly back to Florida tomorrow...well in a plane....I left my superman cape at home.

About Me	I am the consummate Pisces. Born 1963, in Atlanta Georgia. Almost didn't make it here because I was in the womb during the "Cuban missile crisis". (I guess that's why I'm rabidly anti-nuke) I was born before JFK was killed. (I hope the truth about his death comes out in my life time) I am a true child of the sixties. PEACE is my motto. I remember the assassinations of RFK and MLK. I remember the Vietnam War too.(I wonder if Obama does?) My first animal rescue happened in the sixties...In the 1st grade during recess, I found a dove in the playground that was shot with a BB. I picked it up and tried to carry it into school, but was stopped by a "teacher". She told me to leave it outside. My little child brain couldn't understand how you could ignore an injured animal in need, so I refused. Imagine a small child telling a teacher NO!!! After recess, all the other kids went inside and the teacher said she was going to get the Principal. He came outside and said the same thing..."you put that bird down and come inside...or I'm calling your parents" I was resolute...A child telling a Principal NO!! Well Mom came and picked me up, and she was SO proud of me...we took the bird home, but sadly it died. (my first experience with death) So, my love of nature, and my rebellion to authority, goes way back. The 70's found me in Raleigh N.C., my formative years. Not much to say about the 70's...some of the music was good, although the fashions were horrible! The 80's found me in Chattanooga TN. Lots of fun there...really, it is a cool town! I graduated from Hixson High in 1981...WOW that was a long time ago! Moved back to "Hotlanta" in 1987 and went to Dekalb College (now Perimeter College) OH the fun I had there....PARTY TIME!! Atlanta WAS a very cool place to live...then came the Olympics. After that the population of Atlanta EXPLODED...and my hometown was destroyed. Everything sacred to me was bulldozed by developers (well almost everything the Fox theater and the Varsity still stand) Atlanta "the city of trees" is no more!! I had to leave because every tree I tried to save ended up being sawdust. Total heartbreak. I left in 2000. On to beautiful Florida..and I love it!! I live in Pinellas county, and there are development pressures here too, but not as bad. Florida needs protecting!!! I'm fighting the good fight here saving what I can. It would help if the damn Republicans weren't so hell bent on destroying everything ie: wanting to drilling for oil off MY BEACH!!!!Allowing Fertilizer companies to dump millions of gallons of toxic waste into the gulf...hence the worst red tide in our history. Focus Bill this is supposed to be about me...well this is me I care very much about the world I live in. The Animals and our habitat..this beautiful planet. OK back to me....I'm single, never married...(accepting applications), no kids. Well, I do have 9 cats. I know that's a lot but at least it is single digits. My 11 yr old greyhound passed this year and so did my 90 yr old Nana. Two finer souls have never lived. Until she broke her hip I never heard a word of anger pass her lips. That lady was a saint. I miss them both more than I can say. Mom moved from St Petersburg FL to Great Falls MT in Aug 2006. I miss her too! Dad still lives in Atlanta (Marietta) Mom is a Democrat from way back, and God forgive him....Dad is a Republican! My own father voted for Bush!!! Oh the humanity!! I pray for him every night. That brings us up to today. Ah, the beach....MY BEACH. I go to the beach everyday. I see GORGEOUS sunsets almost everyday. HEAVEN. PARADISE!! So peaceful. It is very laid back here, and I love it. Well, that's about it. I'm sure there's more but you'll have to find out for yourself. PEACE!!
