Feel free to sign my first ever petition that I created; a Commitment for Peace.

It is probably one of the most unique ways for an individual to try to encourage the creation of world peace but it is probably also one of the simplest ones ever suggested.

In it I, as an individual human, make a stand against war and for peace. I, as an individual human, make a commitment for this and proclaim this publically for all to see. I, as an individual human, agree to spread this message and hope from me outwards to those who are close to me (and even some strangers). I, as an individual human, know I have the power to do this and thus create lasting change with each person that makes the Commitment by my side.

So how much power could I, as an individual human being, have by saying I am against war and for peace? A lot actually. I, for one, will never be one who will give money to wars or for new weapons research. You can count on me to never serve in a military branch again and thus never serve in a war or to shoot at anyone. If I am threatened by anyone I will walk in Faith and in my full conviction without resorting to violence. One can be sure that I will be very open about my convictions on this subject. I will never own a gun; and discourage my loved ones against the purchase and keeping of weapons around me. In this case my commitment may not seem like much but if enough of us do this then not only will we get the attention of our Leaders but we will also make it harder for them to find people to fight those wars for them.

Because most of us are non-violent because of our spiritual and religious convictions we are protected by law and have the right to refrain from having to be in wars and fighting others. By standing up for our convictions, even in the face of unavoidable danger, we can demonstrate our Faith and can become shining examples to those still trapped in fear, hate and ignorance around us.

I come to you not as a German, nor as a Liberal, nor as one follower of any particular religion but as an individual human. We must start seeing each other as Humans first and foremost, united with our Brothers and Sisters across the entire world; not just some of us. In this I invite you to join me in this Commitment. If we can agree on nothing else, let us at least band together in this one issue. Let us show the world that indeed it can be done; that indeed humanity has grown up -- and is done rebelling against our very own world.

In this I have created a petition for all of us to sign. There is no letter attached yet because if we get enough people together, the whole petition and all of us following our commitment will be our letter. My goal is high. Very high. It is not thousands of signatures I am trying to collect. Not even millions, but over two billion! If we manage even close to that by the date of closing of this petition I will personally bring this to the leaders of the world and to the media as an individual human and tell them to stop fighting and spend their energies and money more productively.

So read it over. Consider it. Consider adding your voice, as an individual human, to the rest of ours and stand side by side for one of the largest endeavors ever. I know many of us can send these funny jokes to everyone on your buddylist, some people even send chain-letters threatening doom and destruction to everyone who does not send it onwards -- so why not take the few moments out of your life and sign this petition and then send this information and the petition link to your friends, family and associations.

Wild Fact About Me	I use most of my money to do good and for necessities and only a little for my own pampering. Early Dec. 2007 I gave up all meats up overnight for my spiritual growth. Researched this decision and made an iron resolve never to touch those things willingly again after finding out the amount of cruelty put upon the animals before they ended at my table. Never again for I will not be the one to dishonor Mother Earth in this way...!

What Gives Me Hope	The Divine and my Faith!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	As President I would recall all troops and post them within my borders and adopt a policy of Neutrality and Peace. Completely redirect weapons budget to fund education, environmental clean-up, eradication of poverty, creation of extra jobs/businesses and similar programs. Make a program to allow other countries who are poor to come under my protection thus becoming a part of my country. They would also not attack others and be neutral and use all funds generated for peaceful purposes. They would then get access to all resources (money, man-power, etc) to help them rebuild/improve and open borders with my country. Before you know it, other countries will beg to become a part of mine since life would be significantly better there than anywhere else, even more so than nowadays.
What/who changed my life and why	Finding the Divine and discovering my spiritual path because I can now face anything with concrete and iron faith.
