Chuck Palahniuk (author), because he thinks outside of the box. He writes outrageous books with outrageous characters and doesn't mind when he's criticized. He's a realist, and he presents his views in hilarious, satirical ways. The philosophies presented in his books are humorous, but not to be taken lightly. When reading his books, you can't help but root for the protagonist that often has more antagonistic qualities than anything.
