My name is Chad Sarver, MD. I grew up in a small agrarian city, York, Pa. It was the Ebola virus outbreak in the Congo and also the 1995 film, Outbreak that originally inspired me to become a doctor. After graduating with a degree in chemistry and a minor in political science from the Univ. of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, I traveled west for med school at USC in east Los Angeles. It was here that I decided radiology was the right field for me. After med school, I married my beautiful wife. We have two dogs; one is a rescued mutt.
We moved to Santa Barbara for one year where I worked a general surgery and my wife, who has an innate passion for public health, worked as general dentist in an underserved area of Santa Barbara.
Now I'm a first year radiology resident at the LAC USC medical center in east L.A., and my wife is working for the Eisner family and pediatric clinic in downtown L.A. as a general dentist.
