About Me

I used to be active in Animal demos' and rescue, however as I've got older and been afflicted with Menieres as well, I'm on the sidelines mostly supporting the younger generation. I do occasionally go campaigning on local issues, the latest was when London Transport wanted to put a doubledecker bus route through the last bit of wildfowl habitat that we have left round here. We won. I also collect for WW2 veterans on Poppy day. I am 60 years old, married for 40 years this month, a Libran, worked all my life, spent most of my working life with British Telecom- which I loved. After they made me and thousands of others redundant, I managed a funeral parlour for four years which I also liked and was quite good at it. I used to organise jumble sales and bazaars to raise funds, my best effort was £335 for thw wwf in 1980. That was a lot of money then. Londoner.
