I live in Flint Michigan and in the past week 5 people have been shot and 3 killed. I saw this coming back in the 70's then they put NAFTA in place and that was the last straw. There are hardly any jobs and none that would support a person, little lone a family. We don't want hand outs it just makes it worse, we need real jobs! Our Governor is making us a dumping ground for Canada's trash. We can only afford 5 cops per shift not near enough. Michigan (parts anyway) is like living in the DMZ. We never know when we will die but even going to the grocery store can get you dead. A few weeks back a man was mugged for his bottles he was talking back to the store, he got his arm broke for a few bucks. sad. We worry about a place none of us will see but still we live as they do. What will the Government do to help us? Nothing I don't think they find us worth saving. I will welcome any and all ideas that anyone might think will help. The plan now is for us to take our city back and it will mean more deaths. But the Government will only support what they find as necessary and I don't think Flint is high up on that list
