Fallujah is a unique collaborative production created by Iraqi and American filmmakers. After a major US led offensive launch in November of 2004, two-thirds of the city was destroyed and thousands of its citizens were forced into refugee camps. Code Pink commissioned Iraqi filmmaker Homodi Hasim to send a team of videographers and investigative journalists to Fallujah to record the destruction and death inflicted by the American assault. He also interviewed many of the thousands of Fallujah residents who were forced to live in refugee camps on the outskirts of Fallujah and Baghdad. Using the footage produced by Code Pink and additional footage of the US led destruction of Fallujah, Jacquie Soohen and Brandon Jourdan worked together to produce this gripping documentary.

I was a teenaged Republican. It didn't happen overnight - but rather,it was a slow insidious transformation. First, I became a Christian, then I found out other people weren't as 'good' as I was, then I voted for the 'godly' President, then before I knew it, I was backing genocide and torture. How could it be? Thank Goodness for open media and places like Care2, that helped me through my de-programming. I still have a few annoying habits left over from those days. (I refuse to wear pants on Sunday, but mostly I'm bearable.

As President, I would restore as much land as possible to Native Americans, complete w/reparation. I would investigate reparations for African Americans. It is important to admit one's faults - it is an important foundation on which to build something of true value. I would value the earth and STOP GLOBAL WARMING, and investigate every avenue that would insure sustainable and ecologically sound industries, giving first dibs to jobs from those removed from eco-unfriendly jobs such as lumber, oil, etc. Plant Industrial Hemp for use as fuel and lumber. And last, I rocket Neocons to Mars.

Jesus Christ - cos' makes me want to do my best for others, to face myself and others more truthfully, to not be afraid of the truth, and thankfully, not to be so afraid of death.
