I am a work-at-home mother of two. My husband and I own a small Plumbing Company. I am a member of a local non-denominational church that I love very much. I consider myself a professional volunteer. I love nature, animals, gardening, learning and reading, EBAYING, collecting pewter, Cape Cod (Ruby Red) dishes, antiques & folk art.I am full of energy and like to be busy most of the time. I am very outgoing and like to talk to people( my husband says that I would "talk to a lamp post if I thought it was listening"....ha. I get along with almost everyone and I generally love people. I am a Christian and try to live my life as such which means that I am not interested in going to bars and stuff like that. I have lived in the country since my parents moved us there when I was in the 7th grade. I love that lifestyle and doubt I would ever leave it. We have a garden, can and freeze fruits and vergetables, have had many animals, cut fire wood, heat with a wood stove and hang out clothes. I definitly am a country girl!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
1)Inact strict laws to protect animals, the elderly and children.
2)Cut down on Government spending so they would not depend so heavily on taxes and the working class could keep more of their own money.
3) Simplify tax returns by having a flat tax.
4) Reverse the tax system and pay federal funds to State and State funds to Federal. This would allow each state to decide how to spend their residents money and cut down on the Federal Government interference.
What/who changed my life and why
The birth of my 1st child was the biggest blessing of my life. It changed me forever for the positive.
"Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting . . .Wow! What a ride!"
