I'm an equality rights activist / advocate in Canada, based in North Bay Ontario, actively involved in social justice and human rights issues.
I'm the publisher of DAWN Ontario, a progressive, feminist website promoting social justice & the advancement of equality rights through education, research, advocacy, coalition-building, resource development, & information technology.
I/We work to illuminate the causes & multidimensional consequences of the growing inequality of wealth, income, power & opportunity in Canada; and to move this critical national problem onto the front burner of Canadian politics and public discourse.
I share my birthday and year of birth (May 28, 1959) with the stupid Barbie Doll who was patented by Mattel on the day I was born.
My Philosophy
Establishment women just get mad. Activists change the laws.
What Gives Me Hope

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Eliminate the clawback of the National Child Benefit Supplement in the province of Ontario, then I would resign.

Man's Search for Meaning ... Although Frankl calls himself an existentialist, his is not the existentialism of despair of Sartre or Camus. Frankl is a scientist who believes that a valuable method of learning is to gather empirical knowledge from experience. He wholeheartedly embraces life and believes we can make our lives rich with meaning.
