IN LOVING MEMORY OF A BEAUTIFUL GIRL CALLED: Tacarea
ON MARCH 18TH, TACAREA BECAME QUITE WEAK AND HAD TROUBLE STANDING. WITH SOME HELP WE CARRIED HER OUT FOUR TIMES EACH DAY SO THAT SHE COULD RELIEVE HERSELF AND RUB HER FACE AND NECK IN THE COOL GRASS. ON THE 19TH SHE SEEMED TO BE GETTING SOME OF HER STRENGTH BACK, AND THEN ON THE 21st SHE BECAME TOTALLY BLIND AND WAS CONFUSED AND FRIGHTENED. I SLEPT WITH HER ON HER COMFORTER THAT EVENING AND ON THE 22nd WE TOOK HER TO THE HOSPITAL AND SHE COLLAPSED JUST AS WE ENTERED THE TREATMENT ROOM IT WAS THEN THAT I LEARNED SHE HAD SUFFERED A STROKE ON THE 20th. THE VETS WERE QUITE WONDERFUL. THEY PETTED HER AND SPOKE VERY SOFTLY TO HER AND TACAREA BARKED, WHICH WAS HER WAY OF SAYING HELLO. AT 11:50 AM, SHE LIFTED HER HEAD TO LOOK AT ME, AND HER EYES SLOWLY CLOSED FOR THE LAST TIME. THE VETS THEN INJECTED HER WITH DRUGS THAT STOPPED HER HEART. SHE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT 11:55 AM.
TACAREA WAS THE BRIGHT LIGHT IN MY LIFE, AND OH HOW I WILL MISS HER, BUT, SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN EVEN AFTER I AM GONE. A BENCH WILL BE DONATED TO THE DOG PARK WHERE DOGS AND THEIR COMPANIONS CAN REST.
THE PLAQUE WILL READ.

Paws To Remember Dear Raices.
With heavy hearts, and tears in our eyes. After all these years,we must say goodbye. Please understand, we've done all we could. If there was anything we could do, you know we would.
I'm sitting right here, gently rubbing your ears. While I talk to you softly, tying to hold back the tears. The memories you gave us, we'll never forget. Especially the ones of the day we all met.
One last hug and one last kiss. You have no idea how much you'll be missed. To look into your eyes this one last time. You tell me it's okay, you know it's your time.
Close your eyes now and go to sleep. We'll pray to the Lord your soul he'll keep. Go in peace now, our good friend. We'll stay right here with you until the end.
Dream of that special day and time. When we'll meet at the Bridge and all will be fine. We'll run and play, side by side. With a soft warm feeling deep down inside.
Your memory will live on each one of us. You'll always be number one to all of us. Have a safe journey through the night. I promise when you awake, you'll be in God's light.
So with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes. Just for now my friend, we say goodbye. For my beloved Mistress,Master and Amigo. I understand your tears. Every tear is a proof of your love for me and I feel honored and humble. But, do never forget the good things we have shared. Think of it and smile. That is a great honor of me. And if you need me I will be there. Close your eyes, take a slow and deep breath and see me in front of you. Shut off the world, just for a minute and close your ideas about death. Give me a chance. Find subtle signals I send to you. Please do not stop to be proud of me, I am a friend where you can be proud of. I am still your friend. Please do not mourn for me but celebrate my everlasting life. Because it is eternal, just as my love for you.
See you soon.
Raices.
Great was his love Heavy the grief Beautiful the memories He left behind with me
When all is said and done, the light still goes out and I am alone with these things With memories of a Great Dog, who died when he was 12 years and three months.
I will remember always how he looked upon me, before disease stole his body because he has cancer in the spleen and liver. You'd never know because he always followed close and he watched me with all his being, before disease stole his body.
When all is said and done and a new day is on the rise I will remember this Great White Dog with his dark eyes And how he ever heard me call his name but I never had to call him twice . . .
How he ever heard me tell him I loved him yet he loved back triple-fold in his response to me
When all is said and done, I never reached out like that before and no human ever touched me like him in places of my heart I never thought existed before disease stole his body
I was the world he saw and loved and when they closed forever so my forever was closed
No human ever touched me like that
No wonder God wanted him Back . . .
This is the end of a legend. Two White Dogs, Father Amigo and Son Raices, who walked through life as two great friends full of Love and Trust and totally grow together. I will miss them terribly and I don't know if I ever can live without them.
"Anika Shamira Iberique Cádiz" is born on May 12th, 2003.
After the death of "Amigo and Raices", I felt emptiness in my life. Then you came into my life and filled up that emptiness. You are the sunshine in my life and for this reason I want to give you so much. With you, I can be myself and I find that tremendously fine. You are my support and refuge and never you make me angry. You are honest and faithful and therefore I love you so much. You are a gift of kind people who have given you to me.
After a year of misery and grieve by sickness and death of my unforgettable dogs "Amigo" and "Raices", I found a bright spot in my life again. Besides all this misery there was the death of "Shaded", the grandson of "Amigo" and son of "Raices", he passed away 6 weeks after the death of "Amigo". In a time of 11 months, 3 of my whoppers from my life were gone, and to where I could accelerate myself this way during the nasty period which I have experienced.
I wanted so badly a pup for "Amigo" so that he brightened up, but unfortunately this never happend. It would be a grandson of "Raices", but that's not happend alas. The second attempt was a grandson of "Amigo", but also that did not succeeded. In that period "Amigo" died and I had nothing anymore.
Finally I get in touch with "Annie and Adriaan" and now I have "Cádiz" with whom I am so very happy and whom I love so dearly. "Cádiz" is sponsored by a lot of kind people which I do not know the largest part personally. Many people have had divided the sorrow with me what I have had from "Amigo" and "Raices" and this way you came into my life.
Here are the names of the people who sponsored me:
B.Collard en J Erkemei (Birgit) Waalwijk. The Netherlands.
G.J.Benard e/o (Silveradoshome) Almelo. The Netherlands.
Mirjana, Alexander, Tim en Joyce van der Kaaij. Vlissingen. The Netherlands.
Rob van de Velde. Vlissingen. The Netherlands.
Riane,Charlie,Brechje en Plip. Den Haag. The Netherlands.
Many thanks to those kind people who have done this for me . Many thanks to "Ineke the Jongh" who has considered the splendid name "Shamira". This name is a combination of "Shaded", "Amigo" and "Raices".

I want to thank everybody with a hug who stand by me.
This is a whole new story and that will always be. Every day a new page which we write together. The end is unknown. We hope at an adventure and Happy End.
On May 24th, 2004 at 14.35 p.m. "Niëto Caudillo Amigo was born. "Niëto Caudillo Amigo" means "Grandson from Chief Amigo" Niëto's birthweight was 22.7 ounce (640 gram) Niëto shared his litter with two of his brothers.
At 16.57 p.m. "Blaidd Amigo's Son" was born. "Blaidd" is Welsh for "Wolf". "Blaidd" his birthweight was 18.1 ounce (510 gram) "Blaidd" is a gift for "Arco and José"
"Boaz Shai"was born on May 25th at 1.10 a.m. "Boaz" came into this world with a caesarean section and his birthweight was 21.6 ounce (610 gram). The meaning of "Boaz Shai" is: "In Him is Power" The name fits him so well, because "Boaz" had to fight for his life. "Boaz" is the apple of "Rebecca's" eye, she is the daughter from "Arco and José" and "Boaz"is sharing his life with her. There was never a choice battle, because Arco, Rebecca and I, we all knew, before they were born, which one belongs to us, so we all have the puppies of our dreams. And this way all 3 puppies found happiness and we are very happy with this great and wonderful gift.
