Personal News
January 12, 2008: My mother recently joined the millions of women, including two of her three sisters and a niece, who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, Mom's was caught early, and her prognosis is good. But it's been a scary time for all of us, and certainly brings home the importance of regular screenings and the need for research into treatments and a cure.

Update 8/11/09: Mom's doing well a year after finishing treatment.
