Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I like The Classics and feel a little strange in the modern world. I am a product of a basically European education, plus the radicalism of the Early Left, and the utopian hopes of the Flower Child '60's. Now I'm detached and cynical about it ALL. But still, havin' fun and looking forward to each new day!

What Gives Me Hope

We ain't none of us gonna get out of here alive. So enjoy! People do things that are just AMAZING!

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by

I'd set up free clinics for spaying and neutering cats and dogs, free to the entire public at ALL times, to deal with pet overpopulation;
and, I would put FREE dispensers for condoms in ALL public restrooms, men's rooms and women's rooms, to deal with the AIDS crisis as well as human overpopulation. I would also put in FREE dispensers for the "morning-after pill". I would fund these by a special sales tax on Viagra and similar drugs! Put these in ALL public restrooms in hotels, motels, gas stations, restaurants, colleges, high schools, etc.etc. Along with Sex Education pamphlets, also from FREE dispensers. Cut unwanted pregnancies, STDs, and the need for abortion services. Save the State LOTS of money. Set an example to the rest of the world!

What/who changed my life and why

Most recently [I've had a long life], Poetsagainstthewar started by Sam Hamill, that started ME writing poetry and now that's important to me. Earlier, having a child; earlier, meeting an Anarchist at the college I went to; earlier, going off to college; earlier, coming across the works of Shakespeare when I was 14, and despairing.
