What I Want to Do:

My Page Billboard
I would like to see an openness about others interests. I hate biasas and prejudice.  I will admit to having them but don't want to let that stop me from letting others be without mine being in their way.   I also hate the way modern medicine has forced doctors to discard centuries of knowledge just because it had not been testing with the scientifc method.  Because of that I would like to see medicine start to include alternate methods because we are all different and one method will not work for all.   Along those same lines it might be a good thing to pay attention to what our animal friends, our plant friends have to tell us about the world and ourselves.  We might actually learn something that would benefit all of us.

Ok, I have to inject another one.
Religious fanaticism. I am of the opinion that  this comes from being outside the comfort zone for most.  I feel that fanatics actually come from the need to blame someone for discomfort.  Something bad happen in to them or a friend and they take the stance that it is someone's fault.  Let's blame the guy who seems to be getting along too well, then why don't we?  We are all raised with biases, things that form our opinions and create our world view.  Sadly, intolerance and blame come far more often than not.  I really see no good reason for it.  Intolerance, is something that brings death in the extreme and pain in the short.  Blame also has never really gotten anyone anywhere.  It would certainly be nice, if we could just say.. I believe in this without finding criticism, but support for having some sort of moral fiber. Leave the other stuff at the door please.

Ok, I will be leaving my own comment here. Feel free to comment back.

At one point I found myself frustrated by the blockage in modern medicine and in some cases down right dismissal of ancient medicinal knowledge.  Albeit, yes there is some fraudulant stuff, but some medicines were proven by the test of time, not science, so that makes them just as suspect according to some modern doctors.  Or am I misunderstanding, it is just that there is too much knowledge for some doctors to handle?  Why is it that modern medicie seems to look down it's proverbial nose at herbals? Or accupressure/puncture? How about Reiki? and so on.  Why can't we just say, I don't know but how about that let's find you someone who does?  Not all modern medicne is a cure all and not all althernative is either.  That is my opinion on that subject.
