Wild Fact About Me

I am shorter than I was when I was taller than I am now but not as short as I will be when I lose the rest of my hair.

My Philosophy

I once wrote:

"In his mind he's wonderin'
If all those things he never said
Could have changed the way that things have changed
And made a better world instead."

That is my philosophy...an enduring question.

Then I realized it was about myself.

What Gives Me Hope

"This hope we have as an anchor of the soul..." (Heb. 6:19) I am given renewed hope by the new (current) administration.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by

Appoint the best man for the job as my replacement.

What/who changed my life and why

The man who most inspired me when I was a broken, scared child was Casey Medlin.

Due to previous circumstances I was afraid to talk to anyone, especially an adult.

One day I was bouncing a basketball and Mr. Medlin approached me. He laid his hand on my shoulder and with a trembling voice I said, "Hello Mr. Medlin."

"What did you call me?" he demanded.

"Mr. Medlin." I replied, afraid that he thought I had called him a name.

"My name is Casey," he said with a smile as he patted me on the head. "You can call me Casey."

I'm sure he had no idea how much that moment meant to me.

What Bugs Me

liars, people who WON'T use their minds!, people who steal and harm others, hypocrisy, George Bush, Complainers and whiners, Chain E-Mails, arrogance, Any one that would hurt an animal, any one that would hurt a woman, Any one that would hurt a child, abusive people
