Wild Fact About Me In 2007 I launched a nonprofit environmental policy and science education organization called the Ocean River Institute. Instead of thinking globally and acting locally, I am learning environmental subsidiarity how to listen locally and then act locally when assistance is requested.

What Gives Me Hope Meeting people, the gleam in their eye, encountering wildlife, the marvel in their form,
knowing when the seas are riding easy,
and that world is always turning towards to morning.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Through participatory ecosystem-based management return the planet Earth's atmosphere to 350 ppm carbon molecules. This would reverse the detrimental impacts of global warming, climate change and ocean acidification.
