I am not yet aware what I am, who I am and why I am. I don't even think this is the right question to pursue as it prejudices the whole investigation. Perhaps I am not a single entity at all, but rather a part of a collective conscience, grounded in a complex web of life. And perhaps without understanding the whole to which I belong, there can be no understanding of I.
Anyway, when I am not contempltating my being, I study Philosophy (ethics) and German literature at Berkeley. I am presently working on a small book project to inspire friendship across ethnic and other silly socially myopic boundries in Fiji.
I plan to work on Friendship for my PhD in Philosophy after which I intend to teach and advocate virtuous living.
"I swear I will not dishonor my soul with hatred. But offer myself humbly as a guardian of nature, asa healer of misery, as a messenger of wonder, as an architecht of peace.--Diane Ackerman." This prayer was kindly brought to me by my dearest friend, Bridget Harcey.
