What Gives Me Hope art, nature, sensitive and intelligent children and young adults who haven't been poisoned by the selfishness and materialism that seems to permeate our society
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by making sure everyone had equal access to quality education (schools in poorer areas would be just as good as in richer ones) and health care (everyone would get the same excellent level of care regardless of ability to pay)
What/who changed my life and why a traumatic divorce and the decision to go back to college, because I hung in there and got my Ph.D., have been able to make a difference in some of my students' lives, and most importantly, was able to be a role model to my daughter, who's a teacher now and I am SO proud of her!
