What Gives Me Hope Other people and particularly young people with strong environmental values/beliefs
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Put a huge tax on aviation fuel and another tax on short haul flights. Money raised going to improve railway infrastructure. Increase tax on energy (oil, gas, electric) but offer free energy saving options (such as insulation, double glazing, efficient boilers etc) and renewables in return.
Ban the development of nuclear reactors and phasing out existing stations.
