About Me	Debonair seeker of Light Born in the Age of Aquarius, destined to seek out truths in many an artform, trained as a historian and a journalist but truly a prose-lover... Luciano is out to dispel any clichés and reinvent them all both to the tune of a little something called the truth as also to his own image - being old-fashioned, he does not mind that distinction one infinitesimal tiny bit at all...! "There are two ways to spread the light; be the candle... or the mirror that reflects It." I have chosen to be the latter... ok? ~~ "To be not only a seeker of light... but a dream weaver of light" ~~ As surely as the moon reflects the light from the sun, you and I can reflect the Light from Above - and be, indeed, the light of this world! ~~~~ And those who know me well know me as an all-around saintly boy who has loved and lost... Died a little more with each loss... And, somehow, I've survived thus far to tell the tale... I have lost my dearest friend of all though and I know how irreplaceable this friend is... I know that I will never recoup THIS loss - NEVER. And as I painstakingly apply myself to live up to my father's ideals and legacy - the saintly great man that he was, who harmed none and only did good around him until his very last breath - I discover just how similar to him I can really be, even in all the differences between us... He held no grudges - I hate his enemies with more fire than he himself would bother mustering...! I cannot forget certain things, much less forgive them - he always could. But I am finding ways now to do as he did - as, each day without him visibly* in my life, I grasp more and more what his perception was, ultimately... For, ultimately, why are all our battles waged? Are there ever any conclusive ends - is there ever any resolution to it all? No - the fight is neverending - A LUTA CONTINUA... As long as there are belligerents on this planet; as the world endures; things will never change. One foe may fall by the wayside, another or ten others will rise where he stood. I am not saying that Father was weary - nor am I. But the futility of it all has hit me now. As it occurred to him first. I am not saying there is no hope - for us, for the planet, for everything we may hold dear... However, I am hinting at the temporal aspect of it all - each little victory is temporary. Only His Victory Is Forever. And that is God's - in case you're wondering... When The Day Comes - He Will Do what a hundred billion petitions here, on care2.com, could only DREAM of accomplishing...! You just wait and see... ;)
