We should try to live like the Native Americans did before they were overrun with people who were controlled by their compulsion to acquire "things" and have more than the next guy. In the traditional Native American Indian way of life, there was no concept of greed. That is something I don't believe anyone since has been able to understand. Too Bad for all of us! What a wonderful world it would be without greed being the strongest driving factor in everything we deal with on a daily basis.
What Gives Me Hope
It's hard but my daily challenge is: Trying to see more good than bad, more love than hate, more creativity than destruction, more truth than lies, more kindness than cruelty, more sensitivity than apathy, more generosity than greed and more faith than despair.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Allow the people to know what was really going on with their government and try to be part of a government of, for and by the people, like it was supposed to be.
What/who changed my life and why
The personal relationship I have had with Jesus Christ. For something you can't physically see, the happiness He can bring to one's life is unworldly, to say the least. He is the only reason I am strong enough to live in this sad, brutal world.
