Four years ago I would describe myself as someone who didn't follow the crowd, was fun to be around, a good listener, & a social butterfly. But now that I'm the mother of two toddlers, I'd say that I'm still all of those things, just more of a hermit who never goes out.
Wild facts shall be reserved for those closest too me, but I will tell you that ... No, nevermind.
Live for you. If you are not for yourself, then who should be for you?
What Gives Me Hope
Knowing that George Bush only has a few more years in office & then hopefully we'll have a person with an I.Q. in the Oval Office.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
"If I were President. I'd be elected on Friday. Assassinated on Saturday. Buried on Sunday. If I were President."
- Wyclef Jean
... I think that would probably apply to me too. If a black man or a woman stands "realisticlly" no chance at being President, I guess the world isn't as great a place as it needs to be.
What/who changed my life and why
A person once opened my eyes to the injustices suffered my millions at the hands of corrupt government officials. I was not aware, let alone did I think I could do anything to change that. He told me that I could, & that the changes I needed to make should begin with myself. Banishing old stereotypes, awareness of other cultures, & knowing that I could become whoever I wanted to be.
