I have been called Pagan, Witch, Heathen, Unenlightened and Godless because I don't belong to a structured religion. Been there done that several times. I am not Godless as I find myslef believing more and more in the tribal teachings learned as a young person.
I am not Godless. I believe in The Creator, Great Spirit, Father Sky, Mother Earth, Sister Moon, Brother Sun, shall I go on?
With the world in turmoil mostly because of religious conflict I no longer want to be a part of satisfying someone elses beliefs in what I should believe in.
My Shaman taught us to respect all life, all nature . Should we have to kill an animal for food or take food from Mother Earth we must thank the animal spirit for giving itself to us and promise not to use them too often, only when necessary. Then thank Mother Earth for her bounties and take care of the land.
We must try to be kind to all people and if not possible, pray to the Creator to help you and the people you are having difficulty with to find a common path.
I wish all of these warring factions could sit at the feet of Laughing Hand (my First Shaman) so they could learn his lessons on life and the environment.
May you walk the Path of Beauty forever,

    To my beloved Aunt PaleDeer,

May the Warm Winds of Heaven

    Blow softly upon your house.

    May the Great Spirit

    Bless all who enter there.

    May your Mocassins

    Make happy tracks

    in many snows,

    and may the Rainbow

    Always touch your shoulder.

    Happy New Year!
    Love the scarce one.

I want to apologize for forgetting your birthday and give you this.  I also sent you a green star as a peace offering in the hopes that you will forgive me.  To quote a phrase, "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."  Hope you had a happy birthday!
    Hugs & Blessings 2U
