I don't know if there is a god, but what I do know is that there is an earth. An earth that was given to me from my grandfather, father, and generations before them. Who had to struggle to survive all beneath the same sky i look up at today. All I can do is to strive to make this world a better place than what i inherited it as, for my children and theirs... whom I will love more than anything I have laid eyes on when that day comes.
I'm 21 going to LSU for Biology/Marine Concentration. Going to graduate in the next 2 years and then hopefully find work in field research. I'm pretty laid back but have strong opinions.
Efficient use of the sun's energy is not necessarily a modern phenomena. Many centuries ago the Anasazi Indians of Southern Colorado found a way to capture the oblique rays of a winter sun. They simply built their stone houses against the south slope of canyon walls. The remains of their solar dwellings are still with us today.
