This is just to say Hello to visitors to this page.
My passion is for animal welfare. I did not learn this, its the way I popped out of the egg, tho' I wouldn't wish to be any other way.
I love this site and a big salute goes out to Randy for his foresight in providing a means for us to gather together to work for change. I take no notice of those who criticise our actions because every journey starts with a single step and regardless of what they say, it certainly can make a difference. I am so pleased to meet you all. If I take a while to reply, that is due to the high volume of messages, I am trying to cope, so please bear with me. Thanks xx

My Philosophy	Don't rely on somebody else - if it needs to be done. Do it yourself but rally everyone to join your initiative
What Gives Me Hope	Public support for my mission, in the most difficult times was always there, in measure equal to need, and my experience 'those with least - give most'
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Assign one day per week as MeatFree and provide the public with a range of alternate food choices carefully chosen to mimic favorites eg Chicken-Free Nuggets. Passing profits generated to provide funds for Society's support needs, thereby reducing the tax burden on the general public. I can never understand why this does not occur to anyone in power.
What/who changed my life and why	The book I wrote during the period in between my brain surgeries entitled Barbed Wire in the Blood - because I had lived it. Having spent over a decade working to provide funding for charitable initiatives, in a hand-to-mouth fashion, I joined a network initiative to bring about a more holistic system for everyone. The commercial system proved itself, however due to unscrupulous partnerships, I have been denied along with several investors and the charity, from any financial returns. Since money generated was sizeable there was plenty to apply to the task of maintaining that deprivation. This is pure EVIL.

Janet I. (16)	Thank you for your kindness, I am struggling with all the new stuff to learn and become efficient on this website so I may be a little late in replying. For those interested, I am recovering from the last operation, in a series, for the removal of a very large benign brain tumour. Thanks to the unbridled skill and talents of Oxford Neuro-Surgical Consultant Mr Richard Kerr [John Radcliffe Hospital ] that surgery was 100% successful. But not that he should get all the praise for my miraculous recovery [just most of it] - the rest I certainly attribute to my strict VEGETARIAN DIET. I class animals as my friends and so do not eat them! Not only does that result in a host of benefits to my body which aided recovery but it also lowers my Carbon Footprint improving planetary conditions for all.
