COURAGE. THANKING YOU FOR THE GREEN STAR. Joseph Fire Crow is a Cheyenne flutist. In 2003, he received the NAMA "Song Writer of the Year" award for Legend of the Warrior; the song you are listening to.
The two songs I chose to celebrate the new year of 2013 are Niki Nana meaning We Are One or as Lakota say Mitakuye Oyasin. The other song hails from the sixties but we need this as much today as then. Peace, we must speak up for Peace more often! Let 2012 be the end of the old ways 2013 the beginning of better ways. HAPPY NEW YEAR
Sorry to learn so much going on with the pets of the family, and the most important things that need caring for you seem to be doing. Christmas is nice if one can do it, but it's not always possible and actually adds stress if not in the right place to do things. I recall two various years I moved not too long before Christmas, so I didn't worry upon it, had enough to do. Several years after the death of my husband no one was interested in having a tree and sharing gifts, my children missed their Dad and I missed my husband so we just had a nice sit down meal and called it a day. It wasn't until Kaileah was born that we started to do a traditional Christmas again, tree, a few home decorations and a few gifts. We were never crazy on gifts perferring the joy of the day together was enough.
We are having a good time catching up with the little village scene. As we got a late start we are doing 2 each night until we are caught up. She enjoyed making the snowperson then was delighted when she saw it appear in the village just as she had made it. lol The train she enjoyed seeing it go around with the same cars she had chosen. So she is having a lovely time and I have a lovely time watching her delight as well as I'm always delighted by the new scene that opens each day
This is an animal shelter we donate some of our time to and they gave her a bit of a ride for what she did to help. Growing pains is what it seems to be but we are waiting for one last test results for Lyme disease to make sure. Another on here had mentioned their neice had horrific growing pains as well. So we must teach her yoga to help with this as the Dr. said that would help. She hasn't been complaining much as of late so that is a good thing. Thank you for getting back.
This is Kaileah having her first up close encounter with feeding birds. It was so exciting for her as up to then her experiences is birds in flight, trees, books. I'm sorry Jill that your life with having a child in it has not happened for you. I know how much it would of meant to you. With so many who don't care for their children yet can have them, then others who would be great parents can't have them. I update Kaileahs photo from time to time in the Dandelion album, feel free to take a peek when you have time. If you were closer we could have you be adopted Nana and you could do things with us from time to time. But alas the miles are not so close to make that easy.
~Magickal Graphics~ Thanks for the Halloween Ecard. I walked my legs off last night Trick or Treating, but Kaileah was so cute, my daughter made the costume, except for mask, she was Bat Girl. Downtown always has a nice presentation for the kids as well as one street that really does it up big in this town. And I do mean big. One home has a big screen TV outside with Michael Jackson Thriller playing, showing Rocky Horror picture show, the house across gives free water or soda, the other house has a big cooker for hotdogs for those who do, and on and on.
