Today in P.E. we started learning how to swing dance. It's so much fun, but since Franklin Regional doesn't do coed P.E. we're doing with our friends, so all us girls just end up laughing as we do the different steps. It's so much fun to be able to laugh when you mess up and know not everyone is perfect at swing dancing the first time.

A few of my friends and I were wondering why we just couldn't do swing dancing with the guys, I mean that's the point, but Mrs. Poholsky said that you don't have to do it with guys and my mom said it would be hard to find a sophmore boy in the 8th Hour gym class who would be willing to swing dance. I don't know why they wouldn't want to try it, it's so much fun, but then again, several of the guys in Mr. T's class are in my other classes and I know that they like break-dancing so much better! *laugh*

I know I haven't been keeping this very up to date, but today is definately worth mentioning. During third period, when I have Honors French 2, one of the assistant principals came on over the intercom and declared a code yellow. Having just finished our quizzes, i looked at my friend and french partner and asked which one she thought it was: drugs or someone getting sick in the hallway. About twenty minutes later, the code yellow was changed to a code red and teachers were instructed to lock their classroom doors. I then looked at my friend and said, "Do you think it's a bomb threat or drugs?" She said she'd prefer it be drugs (the high school I attend as a drug and drinking problem).

As it turns out it was somewhat a bomb threat. Some girl had written a threatening message in one of the girl's bathrooms that said, "10 people will die on May 3," or something along those lines. This code red continued all day. They even called the police, brought in the bomb dogs, searched peoples' lockers, and teachers came through each classroom with latex gloves and looked in our purses or messenger bags. The entire school was stuck in 3rd period for three and a half hours until they (the principals) told us to go to 5th period. Each of the periods 5-7 were roughly thrity minutes long because those are the lunch periods. Period seven was about 45 minutes and at 1:45, we were dismissed to our lockers and our buses (thirty minutes early). The code red continued through the night with sports events and a concert being cancelled. At around eight-thirty pm it was posted on the school website that the person who had written the message had been caught, confessed, and had no weapons on them that would cause harm to anyone.

Well, following yesterday's escapade, I learned 8th period who the culprit was. As it turns out, it was a freshman girl, I didn't think I knew her until I was told on the bus that this was the Andy* that rode our bus. Frankly, I was mildly surprised because she was a good artist and I didn't think she would do anything like this, but apparently, people on my bus thought she was a little off. One even said that she was pregnant while another friend denied it saying she only makes herself look that way. Apparently, she's more "off" than I'd known. It's saddening because I don't think anyone expects her not to get expelled. But, if you had met her before this in the way I had, which was only on the bus, unless you've got an amazing intuition, my guess is, you would have seen her as a simple freshman, who's really good at painting.

*Name has been changed.

Well, at the beginning of the month, Corbin Bleu's solo album 'Another Side' came out and I went and bought it Mother's Day weekend. I have listened to almost non-stop since then. Now, before you declare me obsessed, because I'm not, this is just a thing I have. Everytime I buy a new CD I listen to it for days if not weeks until I know the lyrics to every song and I can sing it start to finish, after that I listen to it when I feel like it, but I would recommend you go and buy the CD or purchase it on iTunes because it's really good. All Corbin's songs are very upbeat, there is two songs that have a more mellow beat, but they are no exception. My two favorites are "Mixed Up" and "Lonely," but like I said before I can listen to all of them and enjoy them. The music brings forth different feelings and emotions and to me, that's what music should do, if the beat is right and the lyrics match with it, you can guarentee I'll love the song.

My mom saw me on the site, which in reality is no big deal, because I was showing her something on my page, but she doesn't like the idea of me posting things on the internet. She doesn't mind the site itself, just that I'm keeping things on here that are about me. Even though she and I both agree that MySpace is a pedophiles dream, she says that doesn't make Care2 any safer. Sadly, I do agree. So from now on, I won't be posting anything anymore on this billboard. I might come in and change My Video, and add an important note for you to consider, but my page will only be open when I'm on the site and not after. I'm sorry, but even I can see my mother's point.
