As they should be: free in their home countries! Macaws pair and mate for life. If one is stolen for export and sale, the mate lives the remainder of its life alone. Remember this every time you see one of these spectacular birds in a cage at some establishment.... this includes those that have been bred in captivity. Stop the importation, breeding and sale of these birds.
