Coming up to see me was this one little Chicken that ran from the group just to come greet me in the morning… The White Duck’s more interested in what’s on the bottom of the stairs, but the Chicken came all the way up and stood there until I gave her a piece of bread.. When you give these babies something like a piece of bread or a piece of celery top, they take it and run around like they just won the Lottery or something; or like before they received the treat - they have not eaten for days.. Who ever is holding the snack is chased after by all the other ones and they all just go haywire.. Oh look and there’s our old car, OMG I’m so glad we don’t have that one anymore, but that’s where it was parked 365 days a year.. No Garage for our car, which made it scary for me to watch Ed come and go all the time, because you never know who was under it.. He would have to at least honk the horn once to make who ever was under it leave so he can drive off.. Even Chipmunks and Squirrels would be under there to keep safe, so we had to be very careful all the time.. When Ed and I would leave in the car, I would wave at the Ducks or the Chickens (who ever was at the front of the house at the time), and would ask them to watch the house and make sure no one burglarizes us.. They were so good at that, and nothing ever happened (knock on wood). Muawwww…
