Welcome to my Living room, where we enjoy living by taking care of the plants, watching them grow, and in the evenings watching television. They are so beautiful, and even today; but this picture was taken a while back when that Cactus was small, and the palm trees you see on the side were also just starting to grow. The vines you see behind everyone, are so happy here that they just grow and grow and grow and keep growing… Today that window ledge is completely full of vines all over the place, Cactus growing so big it‘s completely over the pot it‘s in with arms thicker than mine, and the palm trees are so tall and full at the top that we CAN NOT easily see the Neigbor’s that live across from the window (and thank God cause who would want to).. Now ask me where those Palm Trees came from? Well, they came from the Love of my Mother.. My Mother had a Green heart that came with a beautiful green thumb, and she used to grow in her home all sorts of beautiful plants; vines, trees, bushes and flowers. Every time I came over she would take me to each one in each room; talk to them all, feed them, boost their egos by bragging about them, and telling me all the time that I must talk to plants (emotionally express) or they’ll be sad and won’t grow. I did, and today I still do and I believe that each one is alive and spiritually connected to Ed & I, while connected to the Spirit of my beautiful Mother. She’s gone now, and when we came to her home for the last time to take things I wanted with me forever, those Palm Trees were it. One looked like it would be dead in a day, and one looked like it had only a few leaves alive screaming for my Mom on it’s last breath. They are both very happy now, and today I know she nurtures the Cactus along with Ed who waters everyone everyday. God I miss My Mom..
