John loved NYC and Cafe La Fortuna. The cafe, just one block from his home at the Dakota, was a favorite haunt. He was often seen at the cafe's garden writing music and poetry. John loved the cafe for the same reasons we all did...it's simplicity, authenticity and ability to offer safe haven from the onslaught of daily life in a hectic and chaotic city.
