Leo was my first cat. When my doughter find him one summer night he was less than 6 oz (170 gr), his ribs were visible. She begged me to take him. I didn't believe he'll be alive by morning, but to please my doughter, and give Leo a fighting chance, I agreed.
Next morning in 5 AM he started to meow so loudly that we all woke up. I said: "This one is a fighter with a lion's heart" and name sticked.
We didn't know how to take care of a cat, and I turned to "mummy mod" always questioning "what will his mum do now?". We feeded him every 3-4 hours with baby (human) formula, keep him warm and clean, and he did the rest.
He ruled the house for 10 yrs. Leo straightened us up, cared about us, made us laugh. We are better people because he lived with us.
Because Leo teached us about benefits of living with cats, we now care for 8 cats, in 4 homes.
