This is my third "child", Casper. We adopted him from the Humane Society about 4 years ago. He earns his keep by catching the mice that sneak into our home on occasion. (He never gets to eat them, though, as I am a firm believer in "catch and release".) Casper loves everyone in our family and is the greatest cat in the world, in my opinion. : )
Holly, I can't believe this--He's identical to my Snoball !!!!!!
Casper is Beautiful! I love that look in his eyes. His color is identical to my Snoball! Who I rescued from a bad situation where he wasn't being taken care of properly. Snoball is 12 now and we call him Grandpa Snoball because he's the oldest and tries to keep peace between all the others. Except when he's feeling frisky and reaches out to trip anyone that comes his way.
I like the catch and release thing; I do that too. I only have one hunter. Ralphie. He's pretty good at it though.
I try to discourage him but it's to no avail. I just try to keep him in during the peak bird eating times of the day (early morning and late afternoon). And he always has to come in before dark anyway; that's house rule #1 for all the furbabies! They get on restriction if they don't obey that one! hahaha! That works for a little while....
