Sarah McNulty Asks Beyonce to Donate Proceeds of Song to Challenger Learning Centers
When Sarah McNulty (who lives on the Space Coast and does PR for the aerospace industry) heard that Beyonce had sampled a clip from the Challenger disaster in her song “XO,” she was outraged. She thought it was a thoughtless gesture that “reopened an old wound.” So she started a petition asking Beyonce to donate 25% of the proceeds of the song to the Challenger Learning Center, an educational science center started by the families of the fallen astronauts.
