Action: Tell Someone You Appreciate Them

Action: Tell Someone You Appreciate Them

One of my favorite series on Care2 is our “Random Acts of Kindness” posts (quick missions you can do to make a big impact on someone’s day). It’s been a while since I’ve posted an action, so I’m excited to get things started again with today’s simple mission:

Tell someone you appreciate them.

Yup – it’s that simple. You can tell a friend, a waiter, a work colleague – whoever you’d like to make a little happier.  Most of us get so busy we sometimes forget to let others know how much we appreciate them… but it’s so simple and powerful (and it might just make you feel good too!)

After you’ve completed the action:

1. Please share your experience in the comments below.  Who’d you tell? How did they react? How’d it make you feel? Let us know and help inspire more of us to share the love.

2. Then, click the “I did this” button below to claim 20 Butterfly Credits you can use to make even more of a difference. (Honor system. Only one click per person.)

Thank You for Making a Difference!
