Today we get to do another “Random Acts of Kindness” post (a quick mission you can do to make a big impact on someone’s day). BTW – you can still do the previous mission (“Tell someone you appreciate them”). A Big Thank You to those who posted all those awesome stories in the comments! Today’s mission is:
By now you’ve probably seen the pictures or video of the aftermath of the recent tragic Boston marathon bombings. As the smoke was billowing out, good hearted people were rushing in. While no amount of good deeds will ever wipe away that or other tragedies, I do believe that if enough of us help others, our positive actions will reverberate around the world. Good can overwhelm Bad. What kind of “help” counts? You name it! If it’s from your heart, it’s Good. You can help someone having a tough day – or help them have an even better day! You can help a stranger with directions, take extra special care of a pet, ask your neighbor if they need help, donate to a charity, etc. Quick and simple is good – this is about helping but it’s also about spreading positive energy. After you’ve completed the action:
1. Please share your experience in the comments below. Who’d you help? How did they react? How’d it make you feel? Let us know and help inspire more of us to share the love. I, for one, read every comment – please share!
2. Then, click the “I did this” button below to claim 20 Butterfly Credits you can use to make even more of a difference. (Honor system. Only one click per person.)
Thank you for Making a Difference!
