October 11 is National Coming Out Day. Here are 7 inspiring coming out-related videos, mixing celebrity and personal stories about the significance and power of coming out.
1) NOH8′s “I’m Coming Out” Campaign
This PSA was actually produced in 2009 but is just as relevant today. Significantly, the PSA speaks directly to straight allies to urge them to come out and make their voices heard in supporting their LGBT loved ones and friends.

4) People.com’s Janet Mock Comes Out to Tell You It Gets Better
When in 2011 People.com editor Janet Mock recorded her It Gets Better video, she also came out publicly as a trans woman. Hear her story below:
