If you’ve been watching the London Olympics and enjoying the competitions, take a look at this video of animals performing Olympic-like feats.
Some of the athletes you will recognize like the skateboarding dog (is that Tillman?) and the Jack Russell walking on his forepaws. The others are just as much fun to watch.
In the cat corner, there is a boxing cat, a swimming cat (yes, in a pool), a flying cat, a jogging cat, a laser chasing cat, a hoop-jumping cat and a sweet Siamese who walks a pretty good parallel bar!
Do dogs rule? There is surf dog, frisbee champ, soccer-playing pup (okay, let’s call it football like in London), a bike riding dog (ouch! that looks painful), and a couple of boxer dogs doing the trampoline. Look at the bull dogs pulling that kiddy pool inside. I wonder what they have in mind.
I’m not sure which one is my favorite; do you have one? Here’s your chance to become an Olympic judge. Tell us which animal you think should win the gold in the comment section below.

Some how, it doesn't seem proper for non-citizens to vote, in our elections. Citizenship implies a type…
Love that ginger.
What kind of irony is it that healthy dogs must be "rescued" from a "shelter"? None of the employees…

+ add your ownwow...dog riding a bike!
They are all great!
I hate the Olympics, what a waste of money in this age of global crisis.
I absolutely agree that dogs love stimulation and compnay, and can literally go insane locked up in a back yard all day on their own. This especially applies to the working dog breeds.Dogs that dig up the garden, bark all day and chew up everything in sight ARE BORED!!! They should not be cruelly punished but taken out for at least a couple of walks a day.Sometimes I wonder why people have a dog at all,if they can't put in the time and effort. However, when I have read about the disgustingly cruel methods used in some circuses to train animals,I do not believe our fellow creatures were put on this earth to do tricks to make us laugh.However.if some dogs appear to do tricks of their own volition, and appear to enjoy it,then I guess that's OK.
dog riding the bike gets my vote
Adorable animals. That did look like Tillman! When I read about a dog riding a bicycle, I thought it might be Norman from the Animal Planet show.
thanks for sharing :) dogs playing football has my vote :)
Thanks!
I have to agree with Esa G. Exercise and being outdoors are both good for dogs and humans. If you do nothing, you'll become lazy, fat, or have health problems. Ahem, I'm talking about dogs.Loved all the videos. thanks for sharing.
Mandy H and Dianne D. You two sure don't know much about dogs, do you? Dogs love to learn and use their minds. Living in a house and back yard gets pretty boring for them. So we try to entertain them as well as entetaining ourselves in the process. I trained one of my dogs for agility. He loved it and could hardly wait to do the course, came back with a huge smile on his face that definately said " gee that was fun" Dito for my Flyball dog. Her eyes lit up the minute she was the flyball course. My present dog loves to jump of elevated rocks into the water as opposed to walking in. She will do this herself. Jump of, swim back, jump of again. So don't give me this BS about training is cruelty. I feel sorry for your animals. I bet they lead a very boring life, with little or no brain stimulation.
