Several months ago The Great Animal Rescue Chase brought you the story of Harbor, a raccoon that had been kept in deeply neglectful conditions inside the belly of a boat in the harbor. He lived in a dark cage, on a dreadful diet, for years. Malnutrition led to his blindness but thanks to MaryEllen Schoeman of California, he has been given a second chance in life.
Although he’s incapable of return to the wild, Harbor is living well. Please enjoy this special video of him romping in the grass. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Find more joy here
