BP Orders 32 Oil Separating Devices From Actor Kevin Costner (VIDEO)

BP Orders 32 Oil Separating Devices From Actor Kevin Costner (VIDEO)

Although BP seemed reluctant to look outside their own payroll for ideas about how to best clean-up millions of gallons of spilled crude from both the surface of the ocean and beneath the waves, it looks like they might have found a high profile machine that will work.

Actor Kevin Costner, 55, is selling BP 32 centrifuge machines that he designed. The oil giant reveals early tests show the devices have significant promise in helping clean up the disastrous oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico (All Headline News).

My geologist explained the problem saying there is 1 nice simple solution to stop the oil leak: blow up the area where the pipe is under the sea & this will stop the leak (I personally can't see how this would work - well, let's say, in case it didn't, then what??)
BP has excluded this solution because of MONEY - they would loose this location as a drilling point..I am sure you all will be thrilled to hear this, but BP prefers to soil all the waters of our planet rather than lose MONEY..what are they thinking??? as I said earlier, these people are just plain arrogant fools who know no limits when it comes to destruction faced with the loss of MONEY.
I will intensify my efforts NOT to buy plastic products of any kind.....Many yrs ago I threw away all chemical cleaning agents in my house. I use vinegar & salt (this removes calcium deposits from hard water & cleans brass & copper much better & faster than Brasso) or lemon & sodium bicarb to clean just about anything. I use a white clay product to clean sports shoes, the bathroom, tub, toilet, tiles etc...For the laundry, I use Indian nuts or a laundry ball. Make up is a tough one bec most stuff comes in plastic containers whether it is organic or not, altho there are a few brands whose product boxes are cardboard. There are a LOT of solutions out there. WE MUST get away from petroleum & demand that alternative energies be produced. If we do not, we risk losing all we have to a bunch of fools becaus

Only after the Last Tree has been cut down,
Only after the last River has been poisoned,
Only after the Last Fish has been caught,
Only then will they find that Money Cannot be Eaten.

the arrogance of a company that would not immediately call for ideas of all & any kind to stop an oil spill of any size is down right criminal & simply outrageous. Are these oil people just plain dumb? No one has been listening to the little people - that's us & this EARTH belongs to US...it is time we all stand up together and start a new world order run by us. "They" have had their chance at running things around here long enough &look at the mess we are in.....
Whoever reads this post, I challenge you & everyone to boycott the use of plastic. Just do it. It is hard, I know I have been trying to several yrs to not buy any product that is made with or has any plastic in or on it. It is not impossible, but it is not easy... has anyone ever seen a wooden toothbrush? We have to get away from petroleum products & replace them with hemp which is a far superior product: it is clean and has multiple uses from energy to clothes to housing and a totally bio-degradable plastic can even be made from it...hemp seeds are excellent as a food source, it is one of the best oils and they can be made into hemp mylk.
America hides behind the truth re hemp. It contains NO addictive or hallucinogen substance..the plant is excellent in every way which is why the US government doesn't allow it. We need viable alternatives and that is one of many. WE MUST take back our country and our planet before the destruction is too great....

What happened to using the oil-eating microbes? It works and it's the best alternative for the environment... but apparently it's up to BP, and if they don't produce them, they won't use them... or what!?

I am thankful that a disaster of this size brings out the best in many people... and an awareness of who we are, who we have been and what we can become. And I see our Gulf Coast getting ready to recover once again... but at such a horrible cost.
