Care2 Blogger Graduates Magna cum Laude from Princeton!

We’ve celebrated two babies in our blogger family, and today — another reason for a Care2-sized party!  Amelia Thomson-Deveaux graduated from Princeton Tuesday with High Honors (magna cum laude) in Religion and a certificate (ie minor) in Gender & Sexuality Studies.  She’s also a recipient of the M. Taylor Pyne Honor Prize, the highest general distinction awarded to an undergraduate.

At Princeton everyone writes a thesis, and Amelia also received two “thesis prizes” — in both Human Values and Religion & Modern Thought.  Her thesis was about Simone Weil, a Christian philosopher.

We don’t mess around when we choose Care2 bloggers and, as expected, Amelia made us (as well, we’re sure, as her family) very proud indeed.  Congratulations!
