I want to unlearn my speaking longshoreman. I have a grandson now & I don’t want the chance of a swear word popping out when he’s near. Besides it’s not pretty.

2.    Sarah Lee says  Dec 27, 2009 5:22 AM

Donate to my local SPCA all the good furniture, clothes & cutleries so they can make a jumbo sale, to earn money for the care and welfare of rescued Animals. To love my furkids more. Buy more organic toiletries and groceries. Purchase more organic cotton & locally made clothes, to avoid cheap labor. Last but not least, to boycott goods from countries which severly encourage animal sports, which encourage animal suffering festivals & the making of fur. Yes, take note specified nations, I am talking about you! And also to remind myself, all of us are responsible of global warming. Whether it is building war weapons, mega structures, factory farms or simply by disposing unnecessary plastics and all. I choose to be better. So help me God! Happy Advance New Year everyone

Tackle my clutter — time to stop saving junk mail!

4.     Lynda Kelly says  Dec 26, 2009 8:01 PM

Not to rush, to notice, to feel, to look into
those eyes that look to mine, feel compassion for that moment to leave a little joy, a human connection for that is really all we have. A stranger, a child, a friend a lover whoever engages my gaze for what I give cannot be bought, I can only give it freely and it completes me. I will do it and
will be complete.

5.     Amanda R. says  Dec 26, 2009 5:03 PM

I am going to spend this year working really hard in schoool so I can get i to college by next summer.I have also started a new care2 group called “for the love of farm animals.” A group dedicated to the justice and protection for farm animals such as ones who are treated poorly in fast food chains such as McDonalds and Kentucky fried chicken. If any body is interested, please visit my page on care2.

6.     Otto V. says  Dec 26, 2009 5:00 PM

Defend myself and not let any verbal attacks against me go unnoticed. Try to be more tolerant of people who are ignorant or irresponsible. Try not to be a loner, visit more people, quit eating so much candy, pies, cakes, ice cream, cookies and other desserts. Drink a good grade of brandy or cognac.

7.     Stephanie Carrier says  Dec 26, 2009 4:02 PM

My New Year’s Resolutions is simply to live a life full of meaning and purpose…

8.     Lisa Tyree says  Dec 26, 2009 2:30 PM

My New Year’s resolution is to finally begin & get off to a good start that builds with economic recovery.

9.     Marco C. says  Dec 26, 2009 1:19 PM

I resolve to accept, that life is shorter than I thought, and time passes more quickly than I would like. Human knowlege need be applied much more carefully and as a whole, we are far too fearfull to accept the beauty that surrounds us.

10.  Teresa Wlosowicz says  Dec 26, 2009 12:29 PM

I keep promising myself to devote more time to studying Russian, Swedish and Arabic, but as I have other obligations (teaching, preparing classes, translation) and language learning is now my hobby, I rarely find the time…

HELENA, you didn't mention which Bible, so I will assume KJ version and offer you some help for your plan! And a great plan it is!
Go to google.com and for your search enter "read the Bible in 1 year". You will see many hits for places that will help you with a schedule as well as various choices on how to read it, like cover to cover or read about prophecy today and when the prophecy came true tomorrow. Many ways to keep it interesting for you. I went ahead and grabbed 5 of many choices out there in case you have trouble getting around the internet. I have done this before, 3 times now and find it beautifully refreshing! Best wishes for completing your wish and to understand the things you read!
5 of the many options are shown here:

May God bless your learning period Helena! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I want to share with as many US citizens as possible how important it is not to vote for incumbents in Nov 2010 and to help them see what this so called democrat controlled Congress has done to hurt our people and our country. What we have is a bought government, filled with corruption that are democrats in name only, DINO's. Democrats are not as stupid as what we currently have in office and they need to be replaced before America as we know it disappears forever.

Garden. Cook. Compost. Repeat.

6:47PM PST on Dec 28, 2009

I want to make a daily effort to keep things simple. The causes I chose to make a difference are directed toward the companies that have taken our choices out of the food chain and are attempting to take away our clean air.
Good luck to all those who took the time to share their thoughts

In 2010 I want to promote Peace and try to live in Peace; to respect the others and their different opinions; to preserve our Earth and it's wild life; to be informed about the World news; to pray to God and to read the Bible.

I wish a Happy New Year to everybody!!!

I should stop wasting time and energy worrying about the small things that don't really matter so I can devote all my energy to the big things that really matter!

Well and kindly done by the Loggerhead Marine Life Center and all involved.

Another reason to watch what you eat, even the organic.

It's happening because people here seem to want it. We need to educate those people that it is wrong.…
