Colorado: Buck Still Leading Bennet

Colorado: Buck Still Leading Bennet

It looks like Colorado GOP senate candidate Ken Buck’s attempts to move somewhat to the middle in his senate campaign may be paying off.  The latest polling has his

Via Huffington Post:

A recent Fox News/Pulse Opinion Research poll shows Republican Ken Buck with a slight edge over incumbent Democrat Michael Bennet in the race for Senate in Colorado.

The poll, which surveyed 1,000 voters, showed Buck with a 47-43 lead over Bennet, with 5% voting for another candidate, and 5% still undecided. Unaffiliated voters broke for Buck 46-41.

The 4 point lead is just slightly less than a CNN poll that has come out at the same time, which has Buck leading by 5 points, and has a slightly larger margin of error.

One place where Sen. Bennet is coming out far ahead of his challenger is among women, where he leads by 11 points according to CNN.  No doubt Buck’s extreme views on rape, birth control and Colorado’s so called “Personhood Amendment,” where legal rights would be granted to fertilized eggs, have hurt him drastically among female voters.

Expect Buck to continue to temper his radical stances, especially against women, as election day draws nearer.

I live in Colorado. I’ve gotten numerous phone calls with some automated system asking if I will vote for Buck or Bennet. That’s their question: either/or. I don’t answer the phone. I’m an Independent voter and I think our country has been betrayed by both major parties. Some statistics say that 40 percent of voters are Independent. Basically, whoever gets the most independent votes wins. I think Bennet is better than Buck, but honestly, until people elect some courageous renegades with revolutionary ideas we will not see positive change. It’ll be SOS for perpetuity.

Slowly but steadily, picking up public support daily, the unseating of another incumbent. Good deal!

I also live in Colorado, I have been both happy and unhappy with Senator Bennet's voting record. However, for the most part I believe he has done well. I do not trust Ken Buck and I don't like his views on most things. So I will be voting for Senator Bennet

*BSL- not BSP

His platform on education, job creation and agriculture are equally disturbing. I love my state, despite the BSP a bunch of us are working on repealing, but if he wins, I'm going to have to move.

Vote for the Dems, let's give them and President Obama a chance to follow through with a clear and very clear majority.
