A puppy stops by a field on her daily walk and meets up with a curious herd of cows who just can’t get enough of her. What gives me pause is not the natural and instant bond that forms between species, but the artificial line that we have drawn between them. Watch this magical exchange and decide for yourself if perhaps there is a lesson within.

+ add your ownVery nice story. I think animals understand each other better than we do
The cows behind our house did the same to our cat!
How wonderful!
It seemed safe enough, but anything could have spooked the cows and the puppy would be a pancake. I'm glad the person filming was keeping a close eye on what was happening.
So sweet! The cows are so cute :)
So cute with the doggy.
You were quite right to pick up your baby, It could only have taken a pheasant flying out or a rabbit leaping from its hiding place to spook the cows and they could have trampled over your wee one. I think the owners were stupid to suggest what they did.
Cows are intelligent, gentle and curious creatures. Years ago, we had friends who had cows on their property. The lady told me to put my six month old baby on the grass and watch what happens. After much urging on her part, I tentatively put my baby down and stepped away, but not too far of course. As he sat there, the cows slowly walked towards him with their heads lowered sniffing him, just like the puppy in the video. But as they got close he got frightened and started to cry. I couldn't stand it any longer, and to the criticism of the land owner (who didn't have children, and said he was perfectly safe) I quickly scooped him up. I mean, they are very big animals, and from a mother's perspective, the test was a bit too scary for me. In hindsight, I should have sat there myself to see what they'd do. My son is all grown up now and doesn't appear to have any psychological problems from his ordeal Lol.
thanks for sharing :)
To think how these gentle creatures have probably ended up...on someone's plate to satisfy someone's appetite for meat.
