When your cat suddenly develops a propensity for baths, you really shouldn’t fight it. This cat doesn’t just tolerate a tub full of water: it actually looks completely relaxed and at home in one.
In the first video, the cat’s owner draws a simple bath of water warm enough to fog the camera’s screen. Her cat decides to get in on the action and give the tub a lesson in washing the old-fashioned way, with tongue and paw:
In this second clip, the owner tests to see if her pet’s bathing love is just a fluke. Judging by the cat’s reaction to a water float toy and an added washcloth, though, I think it’s safe to say that this cat truly embraces spa life:

Ahhh, enjoyment! Wish mine would take to the water like that. When he knows he's going to get a bath, which isn't that often, the yowling and screeching starts and he turns into the cat from hell!!!

Why you would put a kitten in the bathtub trying to get out and swimming for who know how long so it doesn't drown is beyond me, it clearly shows it wants to get out but the water is too deep to get a hold on bottom and the sides are too slippery, this is torture and should be taken off this site, and the owner should not have animals or be schooled in what is right and wrong in responsible kind care. Showing this is like giving permission for others to experiment with their animals, it appalling to say the least.

our cat loves baths, too, but she would never let us get pictures or video!
My big fat moggy, Alfalfa, loves to jump into the tub with me - but only when it's a bubblebath! Cat's always been a little weird. He loves bread, spinach and spaghetti!
