Daily Cute: Disabled Rescued Cat Named Harvey Learns How to Walk

Harvey was born with a rare condition called radial agenesis, leaving him without leg bones. Fans of his shelter’s Facebook page soon learned of his story, and quickly raised the money needed to fund his surgery. Incidentally, Harvey has learned to walk so well on his elbows, that he currently does not need surgery. However, all money donated to Harvey will be used if his prognosis ever changes and needs more medical attention. You can watch him as a kitten in the video below, and check how Harvey is doing now on Facebook.

My husband & I adopted a cat born without his back right foot, and his brother who was beautiful and totally healthy, Stub was one of smartest cats I have ever had, since he could not spring up like most cats he had to think his way to where he wanted to go....he would watch his brother, Rocky, jump up to the window sill, Stub would then look around the area, figure what he could climb up on to get to where his brother was. We had four cats at the time, Stub was the Alpha cat, and he ruled with love and gentleness. Funny, smart, tender, courageous, incredible little guy. We lost Stub to cancel in 2006, his brother and he were extremely bonded, and Rocky followed Stub 5 weeks later...it was heartbreaking, but I would never really want them to be separate. To this day we miss our boys....................
