Daily Cute: Just Some Eagles Having a Parking Lot Party

Daily Cute: Just Some Eagles Having a Parking Lot Party

When one Safeway shopper pulled into the parking lot with a truck full of fish products (only in Alaska, right?), it created quite a dramatic situation. About 40 eagles swooped in, covering the surrounding vehicles. One woman activated her car alarm to try and scare them away, but they wouldn’t budge. I mean, can you blame the eagles?

Eventually, a police officer arrived, and he and the other shoppers were able to shoo the birds away. No one was hurt!

My opinion humans as a dangerous and invasive feral species and forcibly barred or deported from Alaskan lands. All of Alaska should be considered off limits to humans as the last refuge of northern wilderness and wildlife

How magnificent it would be to witness that many bald eagles together at one time. We get absolutely giddy if ONE is seen here in my neck of the I suppose it is all in where you live and though I am sure that the fish are plentiful there in Alaska it appears that these eagles have become a tad laid back in their hunting and have chosen to take the easy road and "hunt" down an easy meal instead....who can blame them. :-)
