Daily Cute: Rio the Rat Goes Splish Splash

Rio is the hairless rat in today’s Daily Cute. Even if she is hairless, she needs no convincing about bath time, and has a lot of fun in the water to boot!

As an animal trainer, a rat was the first animal I had to train. I must say that they are one of the smartest animals, and so very affectionate. Since that first rat, over 14 years ago, I have not been without one for very long, and I keep getting the opportunity to adopt more.

Adorable, and such a fun song! I haven't heard it in years, but it really put a smile on my face.

That cute little rattie, takes better care of ..personal hygiene.. better than some people do, but I hope he was taken out of the water straight after the video as think he was ready to be dried, given a treat & told what a little star he is.

She's getting all wrinkly, near the end she's looking to be rescued, that's why she keeps shaking the water off of her. What a cutie-pie, she makes me miss my sweet little guy Nads. He was an Irish Cross rat, brown with a little white cross on his chest, he passed away 20 years ago. I used to have a lot of rats, but I would get attached to them, & they would die after a couple years, I couldn't take the losses anymore. I was burying them in my backyard, & it was breaking my heart.
