Daily Cute: Two-Legged Boxer Learns to Climb the Stairs

Meet Duncan Lou Who, your inspirational pup of the day. Duncan was born with severe deformities that required his hind legs be cut off in order to survive. He is currently in physical therapy to repair the damage to his spine, and also attends water therapy to improve his motor skills. He’s a hardworking pup and doesn’t let anything stop him. Today, he tackles the stairs, and doesn’t give up till he’s gone the distance.

At first, I felt sorry for him since he had to start over so many times. And then, success - Yeah!! Great job, Duncan Lou Who!! You're a sweetie!

Karen F: Think about him this way: Are people who have had to have their legs amputated completely useless and unable to enjoy life?

It is pretty easy to see in this video that this dog is not suffering and unable to enjoy his life with only two legs and he seems to be filled with a zest for life and plenty of love.

I don't know quite what to make of this. Part of me is amazed and impressed by this pup's tenacity, and part of me wonders if it would have been kinder to put him down.

It's impressive to be able to balance yourself and climb stairs with only two legs when you're use to having four. I love the way he kept trying and managed to get up, hopefully he got lots of love afterward. Blessings to him and the people who have helped and continue to help him.
