Dodo The Chimp Takes Care Of Tiger Cubs – VIDEO

A group of motherless tiger cubs in a zoo in Thailand have an unlikely substitute mom: a young chimpanzee.

Dodo, the two-and-a-half-year-old chimp, has been trained to feed the cubs from a bottle of milk, and has been doing the job for about a year. However, as you can see in the video below, sometimes she gets tired of being responsible and just wants to play!

Keepers say she’s been doing a great job, but the cubs will soon outgrow their “mom,” and new arrangements will have to be made.

Why are these animals in captivity at all. If they were born there will they be trained to surive in the wild and finally be set free.

It's real cute to see one baby of one species feeding babies of another but what when they're grown. Will they still be behind bars.

How tender she is wth the cubs. I don't like to see these creatures in captivity but would much rather see the cubs cared for by another creature than by man.

What I've seen on this video is the chimp finding a little love and enjoyment where he can. This so called zoo is a horrible place that exploits the animals every chance they get. Their living environment is nowhere near suitable and the animals are often mistreated. The only cute thing I see is these two animals making the best of what they've got.

I just cannot believe the number of people who simply comment without reading through the comments. So many people taken in hook, line and sinker by a lie.
THIS IS A BABY CHIMP WHICH HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM ITS MOTHER TO USE IN PHOTOS. THE PHOTOS INCLUDE THOSE OF FEEDING A BABY TIGER WHICH HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM ITS MOTHER TO BE USED FOR PHOTOS.
Don't get taken in by the publicity propoganda crap. GET REAL! DON'T SPREAD IGNORANCE.

How much we have to learn from animals! Thanks for sharing the video.

Moved to an area more suited to their size? Does that mean they will be taken away from the only mother figure they have ever known? Sounds a bit cruel to me.

No Emails; you stated perfectly what so many of us (I'm sure) thought as we viewed the video. It so touches the heart and what beautiful creatures they all are!

What a sweet look on Dodo's face when she was feeding the tiger cub---that was such a human motherly expression of love--that is the sweetest thing I ever saw !!!!
