Don’t Make Connections Between Extreme Weather Events (VIDEO)

because that might might lead you to conclude that global warming is already happening, warns Bill McKibben in a Washington Post oped.

In the wake of the devastating tornado’s in Joplin, MO, and a record year for tornados, floods, and wildfires worldwide, author and environmentalist Bill McKibben makes the case that the extreme weather patterns predicted by climate science models look awfully like what we’ve been experiencing. His sarcastic column is a scathing indictment of climate change-deniers who repeat the “mantra that no single weather event can ever be directly tied to climate change” even in the face of clear patterns of many weather events.

The San Francisco videographer Stephen Thomson used images of the disasters mentioned to make McKibben’s words even more powerful. Take a look:

Yup! Those in power are blinded by their greed. They only see today and tomorrow. They do not think about their own children and what they are leaving for them in the decades to come.

Not to worry!!!! I just used my Butterfly credits to plant a tree. (Now if it be allowed to grow and not bulldozed to make way for another factory.)

Deep sad sigh.

All you have to do is look at the progression of the ice melt to see that it has been happening already. The question isn't "Is it"; the question is "Why is it?"

Thank the Universe that there are some people around on Care2 that look a little deeper than what the mainstream media repeaters serve up as "journalism". Until we have the actual facts about what is happening here (don't rely on people like Obama for these!), we can't approach the problems in the most expedient manner.
Will all those who have so far blindly and to some extent understandably taken the (corrupt) IPCC's "findings" on climate change as the Truth, PLEASE do your own research, and then re-appraise the situation? Thanks!

Google H.A.A.R.P. folks.seriously.Maybe you will find your extreme weather answers there..All is not as it seems. You are being decieved.

How many of you have considered the affects the Gov't. research program 'H.A.A.R.P.' is having on the weather - on a global scale. "Google" HAARP to see what is possible. I did, and it sounds like we've created a monster!

You tell them! If we don't wake up and take serious action soon, we are dooming our future generations to disaster.
